A large crowd gathered in 770’s main shul on Sunday afternoon for the kindling of the first Chanukah light of 5782. Following the lighting of the menorah by Rabbi Shloime Leib Abramowitz, the crowd burst into a hearty rendition of the niggun Haneiros Halalu.
After decades of wear and tear caused the iconic 770 menorah to require repair, it was fully refurbished, repaired and polished to make it look like new for Chanukah.
Mrs. Frumey Shubov, an active member of the Chabad community in Toronto, beloved mother and grandmother passed away on Sunday, 23 Kislev, 5783 She was 53 years old.
The mashpi’im and magidei shiurim of the Central Tomchei Tmimim at 770 Eastern Parkway gathered on Tuesday, Yud Tes Kislev, for a seudah and farbrengen with the entire student body of the 770 yeshiva.
